What is checked
- Complete SDS, sections 1 to 16, in the REACH Annex II format (Reg. (EU) 2020/878), in 1 language
- Uses the finalised CLP classification, with a consistency check against the composition and raw material SDS
- UFI creation if needed, or check of the existing UFI
- Preparing the PCN dossier (harmonised format) from the new SDS, for your countries of sale
- Submission on the ECHA portal on behalf of the legally responsible entity, subject to authorisation and access

What you avoid by checking before launch.
Reprinting your labels
A missing particular found after print means redoing the whole stock of cartons and labels.
A blocked file
Data is missing for the safety report or the poison centre notification: your launch waits.
A withdrawal from sale
After an authority check or a marketplace report, a non-compliant product can be pulled until it is brought into line.
A challenged claim
An unsubstantiated promise has to come off the pack and the website, often at the worst moment.
The check happens once, before print, without weighing down your launch: that is when fixing costs the least.
